On the 16th of December, the Saracens Foundation will be taking over the Saracens vs Connacht game to raise valuable funds and awareness for the charity. There are lots of different ways for fans to get involved and support the charity both before the game and on the day!

All the money raised at this game will go towards keeping the Foundation’s projects up and running in the community. The Foundation delivers over 30 projects in North London and Hertfordshire, using sport as a tool for positive change!

Foundation Coat Donation Drive:

The Foundation are running a coat donation drive, asking fans to bring old coats and warm jackets to donate at the game. These coats will be distributed to the participants of our Sporting Roots project, the programme which interacts with refugees currently being housed by hotels in the local area.

Many of our participants have no warm weather gear and are struggling with the cold English winter, turning up to our sessions in shorts and t-shirts when it is 3 degrees outside! Our Sporting Roots participants range from age 2 to 64 so any and all size coats are welcome!

For any questions around the coat drive, please email matthewmaher@saracens.net.

Mulled Cider and Mince Pies:

Get your festive treats and support the Foundation in the process! For just £5 treat yourself to a mince pie and a cup of mulled cider 100% of which goes to the Saracens Foundation. Find us in the Olympic Bar on gameday!

Sarries RFC Halftime Crossbar Challenge:

Keep your eyes peeled on the pitch at half time to see whether our Sarries RFC participants can hit the crossbar! Sarries RFC is our disability rugby club, run in partnership with Alan Day, which provides an opportunity for young people aged 14-24 to play rugby skill games and tag rugby.
