The Empower Her Project

Proudly funded by Shawbrook Bank

At Saracens Foundation our goal is to ‘transform the landscape of female sport by addressing gender inequalities’ through the implementation of women and girls focused community projects.  We believe that empowering future female leaders is a long-term solution to address some of the gender inequalities that are present across society.

The Empower Her project aims to inspire the next generation of female within leadership through a mentoring scheme. We pair inspiring elite female athletes from our Saracens Women’s Rugby and Saracens Mavericks Netball with young females from our community sports clubs, giving them a voice to make positive change within the community sports landscape.  The Empower Her project will host workshops with a variety of high-profile female leaders from sport and business, sharing their stories and inspiring the future generation of female leaders.

Join elite athletes from Saracens Women’s Rugby and Saracens Mavericks on Saracens Foundations new mentoring project launching in the 21/22 season aimed to support the next generation of young female leaders who will grow and develop the landscape of women and girls sport in the future.
Are you a young female aged 16 – 24 years old from grassroot rugby and netball club? Then join the project as a mentee now!
During this 12-month programme the mentees will be provided 1-2-1 mentoring with an elite Saracens athlete, access to workshops from high profile special guests speakers within the sport and business industries alongside gaining an accredited qualification.
If successful mentee will be invited to attend the introduction session on Wednesday 22nd September 2021 6:30-8:30pm at StoneX Stadium (NW4 1RL) and will then attend 1 workshop per month at StoneX stadium on the 3rd Wednesday of each month.
